Monterey Garden Insect Spray

This broad-spectrum insecticide contains Spinosad, a naturally derived compound produced through the fermentation of soil-dwelling bacteria. It disrupts the nervous system of targeted pests, causing paralysis and death within 1–2 days. While pests may remain on plants temporarily, thorough inspection 2–3 days post-application ensures effective population control.

Ideal for managing foliage-feeding caterpillars, thrips, fire ants, and other listed pests, it is safe for use on vegetables, fruits, citrus, berries, herbs, ornamentals, lawns, and more. It integrates well with beneficial insects like ladybugs and lacewings but should be applied in the evening to avoid harming bees. Versatile application options include trigger, handheld, backpack, or hose-end sprayers, making it a practical choice for home gardens and non-commercial greenhouses.

Application Rate:

• For the Garden: Use any type of sprayer. Mix 2 oz. (4 Tbsp.) per gallon of water. Mix thoroughly and apply uniformly to both upper and lower surfaces of plant foliage. Mix only enough for a single treatment. Use no more than 3 gallons of spray for 1,000 square feet. Do not use kitchen utensils for measuring.
