NoFly Bioinsecticide

This organic wettable powder mycoinsecticide harnesses the power of the entomopathogenic fungus Isaria fumosoroseus strain FE 9901, a naturally occurring predator of insect pests that is safe for plants, beneficial insects, and bees. Once in contact with pests, the spores attach to their bodies, penetrate, and disrupt internal functions. This process halts feeding within 24 hours, with pests dying within 3–7 days.

Suitable for use at all pest life stages, this versatile solution leaves minimal residue and integrates seamlessly into Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs. Its efficacy remains stable across a pH range of 4.0–9.0 and performs best at temperatures between 72–84°F and humidity levels above 50%. With a 12-hour Restricted Entry Interval (REI) and 0-day Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI), it offers a practical and environmentally conscious choice for pest control.

Application Instructions and Rate:

• For best results apply at the first signs of the presence of insect larvae or eggs.
• Apply throughout growing season from early spring to late fall (temps above 39°F but less than 86°F)
• Repeat applications every 15 days, 2-3 times, to maintain suppression. If pest pressure is high, apply at shorter intervals of 5-8 days.
• Soil Application:
  • 14 - 28 oz in 100 gals of water applied to greenhouse plants or nursery crops as a soil drench at a rate of 1 gal of solution per cu ft of growing media.
• Foliar:
  • ½ - 2 lb per acre
  • 2 - 8 oz per 11,000 sq ft applied at a minimum of 0.1% solution (i.e., 16 oz of NoFly WP per 100 gals of water).

Storage:

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal. Except when preparing product for application, store under refrigerated conditions (46°F or 8°C). When preparing for application, store at room temperature conditions (75°F or 24°C). The spores are alive and may be harmed by storage at high temperatures (>86°F or >30°C) or contact with water for more than 24 hours.
