2. Use of the Website

• You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt its functionality.


3. Products and Purchases

• All product descriptions and prices are subject to change without notice.

• We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that product descriptions or images are error-free.

• Orders are subject to availability. If a product is out of stock, we will notify you and offer a replacement or refund.


4. Pricing and Payments

• Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change.

• Payments must be made via our approved payment methods.

• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for security reasons.


5. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping times vary based on location. Estimated delivery times are provided but not guaranteed.

• Soilscape Solutions is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

• Any damages or issues with your order must be reported within 10 days of delivery.


6. Returns and Refunds

• Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unused and unopened products.

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect.

• Refunds are processed within 3 business days after we receive the returned item.


7. Liabilities and Responsibilities

• Soilscape Solutions is not liable for any damage, misuse, or improper application of our products.

• Users assume all risks associated with using fertilizers, soil, and irrigation equipment.


8. Modifications to Terms


We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Request CA Tax Exempt Invoice

Our physical is store is located in California. Online orders shipping to customers in California are subject to sales tax on our website.

For California commercial cultivators who hold an active Seller's Permit, there are sales tax exemptions available on many of our products. If you hold a valid Seller's Permit and would like to take advantage of these savings, please follow the steps below.

Once completed, we will verify the documents are valid and Seller's Permit is current. Once verified, we will save to your account profile for future transactions.


At checkout select, "Request CA Tax Exempt Invoice" as the payment type.


Our customer service team will send a quote to the email on your account with the tax exemptions reflected. Most quotes go out within an hour or two. Please allow up to 24 hours for your quote to show up. All of our quotes come with payment options built in. Once your order is paid, we will process it right away.


Please see below for a brief summary of tax exempt products.

0% sales tax on Fertilizers / Amendments / Foundational Potting Mix (products with a NPK value on the label) and Agricultural Minerals (Most Phylloscape products). 

5% reduction of sales tax on AG Equipment (infrastructure and irrigation materials, tools, etc.)

Packaged Soil Amendments (Worm Castings, Compost) and Auxiliary Plant Substances (Tainio, Yucca) are still taxable.

Free Shipping Policy

We ship all of our products nationwide to the contiguous United States. We do not ship to AK, HI.

FREE SHIPPING ON FERTILIZER & NUTRIENT ORDERS OF $5,000+


All products in our Cultivation Store (excluding Soil Media) qualify for free shipping on orders over $5,000 (pre-tax). Soil Media products (Potting Soil, Worm Castings, and Compost) do not qualify for free shipping.

At checkout, the free shipping option will automatically show up on your qualifying Fertilizer and Nutrient order. If any Soil Media items are in your shopping cart, the free shipping option will not be available. You'll need to process the Soil Media items in a separate transaction.

Some items have maximum order quantity limits. Those are built into applicable product pages.

Free shipping is on a per order basis, and cannot be applied across multiple orders.

If you are in California and have tax exemption(s), use the "Request CA Tax Exempt Invoice" option at checkout. Our customer service team will send you a quote for the items on the order within 24 hours. If your order qualifies for free shipping, that will be reflected on the Quote.

Standard Shipping Policy

We ship all of our products nationwide to the contiguous United States. We do not ship to AK, HI.

STANDARD SHIPPING & FREIGHT METHODS


Tracking information will be provided via email when the order ships.


Orders with smaller parcels, and total weight up to 300 lbs. will ship UPS. UPS ground is the default shipping speed, but you may select a faster shipping speed (if available) at your discretion. Some products are not eligible for air shipping and/or expedited shipping.


For orders with larger parcels, and total weight over 300 lbs., LTL Freight through XPO Logistics will be the default shipping method.


For orders with small parcels, and total weight over 300 lbs. both XPO and UPS will be available. XPO is usually the cheaper option; you will need to be present and schedule an appointment for delivery.


Please call XPO Customer Service to schedule your delivery appointment:(800)-755-2728. Please have your zip code available to be routed to the correct service center support team. Once connected, please provide them with your PRO number. XPO Freight orders will come with a liftgate for unloading by hand (without a forklift).

FTL & Bulk Soil Orders

FTL soil orders ship nationwide to the contiguous United States.


Bulk/Loose Soil Orders are only available in California, and parts of Oregon and Nevada.


Please make sure the phone number you provide is the best point of contact for delivery. For special delivery instructions, please use the "Any special requests on your order?" section upon checkout.


FTL Soil Orders can ship to the lower 48 states. Freight is calculated at checkout. Orders will ship on a flatbed semitruck. You will need to have a forklift on site for unloading.


Bulk/Loose Soil Orders can ship to all of California, Southern Oregon, and Western Nevada. If you're region is available, a bulk freight option will be available at checkout. If your region is not available for Bulk/Loose Soil, "No shipping options for this location, package weight and total" will display upon checkout.


Bulk/Loose Soil orders ship via truck and transfer up to 60 yards per load.


Buy Online, Pick Up in Store

We‘ll keep your order for several days so you can come get it at a convenient time.

You can purchase your items online and pick them up at our retail store located in Eureka, CA. Most orders will be ready for pickup in one or two hours. Orders received after 2:00 pm will be processed the following morning. Store Hours M-F // 9-5.


Best of all, ordering online and picking up in stores allows you to save on shipping fees and avoid shipping time.


Your order will be held at the store for several calendar days. We‘ll send you a reminder email one week after the order if it has still not been picked up. If your order is not picked up within 30 days, we will process a refund less 20% restocking fee.

Return Policy

We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality products and customer service. In the event of a return, please reach out to our customer service team for assistance.

RETURN POLICY:



Stock items are subject to a 20% restock charge.

Bulk Soil orders (Totes or Bulk/Loose) are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Pre-order items are non-returnable and non-cancelable.

Custom fabricated items are non-returnable and non-cancelable.

Items must be in their original packaging and in re-sellable condition.

All return requests must be placed within 30 days from date of delivery.

Return freight/shipping is customer’s responsibility.

Please notify us immediately of any defective items as some OEM’s have time sensitive claims.

Credit will be issued at the sole discretion of Soilscape Solutions.


RMA & WARRANTY POLICY:


Most items require a formal Return Material Authorization (RMA) process to file a manufacturer's warranty claim. Soilscape Solutions helps coordinate the RMA process and communication with the manufacturers. The RMA process can often being time consuming and frustrating, please be assured our team does everything possible to advocate for our customers.

The RMA process requires shipping the product back to the manufacturer for inspection at the customer's expense.

The manufacturers typically do not cover shipping costs associated with the RMA inspection process and return shipment.

The customer is responsible for ALL shipping costs associated with the RMA process that are not covered by the manufacturer.

Please be aware that critical items such as pumps and sensors may require the customer to purchase an additional spare part to replace the original part while an RMA process is ongoing.

As it often take a few weeks to a couple months for manufacturers to resolve the RMA process, we strongly encourage our customers to buy spare parts of critical items.
