Developed nearly 30 years ago, Olivia’s Cloning Gel continues to be an industry leader due to its high quality, ease-of-use and stellar results. The secret to its success is two-part: what’s in it and how it does what it does. It is made of a combination of a root-stimulating plant hormone (Indole-3 butyric acid) from the White Willow (Salix alba) tree and NPK nutrients formulated into a gel. This viscous gel adheres to cuttings quickly and completely to create a seal. This sealing process provides direct root stimulation and nutrition to the plant to get those roots going and eliminate transplant shock.
Olivia’s Cloning Gel is designed to be opened and ready for use. It can be used for hydroponic or soil plantings and on all plants grown indoors and outdoors, including flowers, ornamentals, fruits and vegetables. For the very best results, use in conjunction with Olivia’s Cloning Solution.
Suggested Uses: Use to stimulate root development and prevent transplant shock on all cuttings.

- Dip your cuttings in the Gel to the desired rooting depth.
- Coat entire stem area that is going to be below the soil or medium line.
- Place in our soil or any growing medium to root.
Storage: Store bottle in a cool, dark place or in your refrigerator. The gel will become less viscous if heated or kept in a warm environment. It will become darker over time. If Gel freezes just thaw, stir and use.

Directions for Use
Place your seeds or cuttings into the predrilled hole at the top of your Mammoth Starter Plug
- Do not plant your seeds/cuttings too deep as to provide the most media for root development
For seeds, keep your trays in warm, dark place to optimize germination rate
- Be sure to never reach temperatures of 90°F/32°C or above to prevent seed dormancy
Monitor the moisture in your Mammoth Starter Plug
- You will want your plug to remain damp but not soaking
- Your Starter Plug will not retain any more water than needed for root development

Clonex Clone Solution
Clonex® Clone Solution is a plant nutrient specifically formulated for rooted clones and seedlings. It contains a special blend of the highest quality minerals including Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Calcium plus other essential elements that all plants require for root development and vigorous growth.
Used with Clonex® Rooting Gel or any other rooting agent, it encourages rapid root development while helping to minimize stress. Clonex® Clone Solution is the result of extensive horticultural research. It is designed to work together with Clonex Rooting Gel or other rooting agents for outstanding results.
Clonex® Clone Solution is highly concentrated, unlike competing products. In addition, it contains specific micro nutrients and root enhancing agents, carefully formulated to initiate and nourish new root cells in plants.
How to Use:
Mix 5ml – 10ml of Clonex Clone Solution per liter of water (one or two teaspoons per quart). After mixing, adjust pH to appropriate level (5.5 to 6.5). Finally, soak medium for several hours or add to Aeroponic system. Allow for adequate drainage to avoid water logging. Increase the dilution rate from 5ml to 10ml per liter of water as plants develop roots. Moisten rooting media every second day or as needed. Use Clonex Clone Solution, a continuous liquid feed plant nutrient, with each irrigation.
Storage:
Store in the original container in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight or excessive heat.

Clonex Rooting Gel
Description:
Clonex Rooting Gel is a high performance, water-based, rooting gel developed by Growth Technology™ Ltd. It is a tenacious gel which will remain in contact around the stem, actually sealing the cut tissue and then supplying the hormones needed to promote root cell development. It is manufactured under strict pharmaceutical laboratory conditions and is, consequently, years ahead of old fashioned hormones and powders.
The Clonex formulation has been fine-tuned to give the explosive root development and for this reason serious growers and plant nurseries depend upon it for successful and profitable plant propagation. It is completely alcohol-free.
How to Use:
First, dip cutting in gel to desired depth. Then insert cutting into rooting medium. Mist cuttings and place in propagator or a warm, clean, moist and humid environment. Finally, look for root development in 1 – 2 weeks.
As a matter of fact, you can use Clonex Rooting Gel on all types of plant cuttings, including woody, herbaceous, and flowering ornamental species, vegetables, fruit trees and small fruits.

Olivia's Cloning Solution, just like its sister product Oliva's Cloning Gel, was developed in the early 1990's when the hydroponic industry was in its infancy. These products met the need for quality products then and continue to meet that same need today. This concentrated liquid contains a root stimulating plant hormone derived from the White Willow (Salix alba) tree, Indole-3 butyric acid, and NPK nutrients. These ingredients provide new cuttings what they need for a spectacular start and continued robust growth.
This cloning solution works well for hydroponic and soil applications as well as with root cubes and cloning machines. It can be used daily to root and feed cuttings.
Suggested Uses: Use in propagation to promote rapid and robust root development and growth.
Directions: Shake contents well prior to use. For detailed tips on best practices when using in hydroponics, please refer to the Olivia's brochure under the DOCS tab.
- Mix 6 ounces (3/4 cup) to 1 gallon of water.
- Take your cuttings/clones/slips and immediately place in mixture or cut and place immediately in your growing medium.
- Water daily with mixture until roots appear.
- For best results, keep growing medium or soil moist and warm with bottom heat (75-85°F)
